Looking back over the year, it’s hard to pick one thing that stood out in my mind—though I must admit, I got a kick out of all the monster truck photos. But I think the thing that gave me the most joy was hearing about the groups of Challengers getting together and having fun. Without the interactions, without the comments and encouragement on Facebook, without the kindness you all show each other, this scavenger hunt would have fizzled out many years ago.
It takes a unique person to stick with the Challenge. I don’t blame anyone for not keeping with it. There’s a lot of life that can easily gets in the way. But I appreciate each of you, from the driver who just barely eeked out the points for a hat, to the following list of people who will soon be spending a well deserved Moss gift certificate.
Top Scores Miata and British — $250 Moss Gift Certificate!
Both grand prize winners are first-time Challengers, but don’t you dare tell them it was beginner’s luck! Megan Smith in her Miatas, and Deb and Mark Acosta in their MGB, displayed an entire year’s worth of Challenge Spirit, creativity and drive. They were amazing representatives of the fun-loving, adventure-seeking, friendly, helpful, nature we’ve come to expect from people who love to drive little sports cars. Congratulations and THANK YOU Megan, Deb and Mark!

And here’s a small sampling of the photos submitted for the 2018 Moss Motoring Challenge. Here at Moss, we do love cars, that’s for darn sure. But you’ll notice our favorite pictures often have drivers, navigators and friends in them. It just goes to show, the Challenge is more fun with you in it! See you in 2019!
