We are headed for the mountains in July for the Carolina Jaguar Club’s concours at Little Switzerland, NC.   Having missed last year simply makes this event more special.  We shall begin on Thursday, July 22, 2021 and continue until Sunday, July 25, 2021 with the actual concours judging taking place on Saturday, July 24, 2021.

Covid concerns are being taken into account as we plan the various functions especially the indoor dining events.  The hotel is open as usual, but with masking.  The outside activities will be much the same as the past, but also with masking. Our evening dinner events will change somewhat as we will be conducting two seatings for both the Friday and Saturday evening dinners.  As you know, we have been rather close together in the past as over 130 people have “stuffed” into the dining area.  Two seatings will allow us to have some space. Covid concerns have eliminated the buffets, but we shall enjoy some wonderful plated meals with a choice of entrees.

There will be more specific information on this in the April Litterbox along with registration information.  In the meantime, you can make or confirm your reservations at the Little Switzerland Inn.  Make sure you tell them you are with the Carolina Jaguar Club when you contact them.  You should know that Gary, Jordan, Nathan, and Whitney at the Switzerland Inn have gone above and beyond in their efforts to provide our every need.  When we had to cancel our concours last year, they worked with us to transfer registrations, etc. to 2021.  Even though we were not there in 2020, they still filled their hotel with guests.  They are just great people and a joy to work with.

Excitement is high as we anticipate being together again and enjoying each other’s company and the beauty of our Jaguars.
