The Demola Healey was constructed by Carosserie Demola in Belgium for a minor noble named Barron Van Assche. The body was attached to BN1 chassis number 150649 and reportedly took four months to build.

The car was presumably sold later on to an individual that fitted a blower to the engine and installed Alfin brake drums to the car.

The car was allowed to deteriorate over time

In a fit of ennuis following crash, the original Healey grill opening was changed to a more ovoid shape. The car was neglected and fell into disrepair before it was restored in Europe. The shutlines for the doors extend into the roof and the rear fascia has an opening for the spare tire (like the TR3). Ostensibly only one Healey Demola was built for the single order but not much else is known about the car.
